Substance Use Psychoeducational Class for Adults

 Our Substance Use Psychoeducation Group for Adults is a structured educational program designed to help adults better understand the effects of alcohol and drug use, recognize patterns that may contribute to substance use, and develop healthier coping and decision-making skills. Through interactive discussions and evidence-based activities, participants gain knowledge, increase self-awareness, and strengthen their ability to make positive choices.

The group helps adults:

• Understand substance use: Learn how alcohol, marijuana, prescription medications, and other substances can affect the brain, body, emotions, relationships, and behavior.
• Recognize triggers and risk factors: Identify stress, social influences, emotional challenges, environmental factors, and other situations that may contribute to substance use.
• Develop healthy coping skills: Learn practical strategies for managing stress, emotions, cravings, and difficult situations without relying on substances.
• Strengthen decision-making: Build skills for setting boundaries, evaluating consequences, solving problems, and making healthier choices.

Classes $40/hour 

 Individual one-on-one sessions are also available for adolescents who prefer a private learning experience.
