MENTAL HEALTH EVALUATION

At KEFI Counseling, we provide comprehensive mental health evaluations to help individuals, courts, attorneys, and agencies gain a clear understanding of a person’s emotional and psychological functioning. Our evaluations are professional, confidential, and tailored to meet the specific needs of each client.

A mental health evaluation involves a detailed clinical interview, review of personal and psychosocial history, and the use of standardized assessment tools. The goal is to assess emotional well-being, behavioral patterns, coping skills, and overall mental health. Evaluations may also identify symptoms of conditions such as depression, anxiety, trauma, ADHD, or other psychological concerns.

These evaluations can be completed for personal insight, treatment planning, or court-ordered requirements. When requested for legal purposes, the evaluator provides a written report summarizing findings and professional recommendations in accordance with court or attorney specifications.

At KEFI Counseling, we approach every evaluation with compassion, professionalism, and cultural sensitivity, ensuring that clients feel supported and respected throughout the process.

 Registration: $30

Evaluation: $300

SUBSTANCE ABUSE EVALUATION

At KEFI Counseling, we provide professional substance abuse evaluations for individuals seeking personal insight, meeting court or probation requirements, or complying with workplace or legal requests.

A substance abuse evaluation is a confidential assessment that helps determine whether an individual’s alcohol or drug use has impacted their mental, emotional, or behavioral health. The process includes a clinical interview, review of personal history, and standardized screening tools to assess patterns of use, risk factors, and overall functioning and a drug test.

Following the evaluation, clients receive a clear summary of findings along with individualized recommendations for treatment, education, or prevention, as appropriate. When needed, a formal report can be provided to the court, probation officer, attorney, or employer.

At KEFI Counseling, our goal is to provide nonjudgmental, supportive, and evidence-based evaluations that promote understanding, accountability, and positive change.

Registration: $30

Evaluation: $200 (including drug test)

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE EVALUATION

At KEFI Counseling, we offer comprehensive Domestic Violence Evaluations for individuals referred by the court, probation, attorneys, or other agencies. These evaluations are designed to assess behavioral patterns, relationship dynamics, and contributing emotional or psychological factors related to domestic violence incidents.

A Domestic Violence Evaluation includes a thorough clinical interview, psychosocial history, and the use of standardized assessment tools to evaluate anger, impulse control, stress management, and relationship behaviors. The purpose of the evaluation is not punitive but restorative—to promote accountability, insight, and personal growth while addressing safety and prevention.

Following the assessment, a detailed written report is provided, including professional findings and recommendations for appropriate intervention, such as counseling, anger management, or participation in a Batterer Intervention Program (BIP).

At KEFI Counseling, evaluations are conducted in a confidential, nonjudgmental, and culturally sensitive manner. Our goal is to help individuals gain awareness, develop healthier coping skills, and take meaningful steps toward positive behavioral change.

Registration: $30

Evaluation: $250

VAWA MENTAL HEALTH EVALUATION

At KEFI Counseling, we provide VAWA (Violence Against Women Act) Mental Health Evaluations for individuals seeking immigration relief due to experiences of domestic violence, abuse, or extreme cruelty by a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident spouse or family member.

A VAWA evaluation is a confidential and trauma-informed assessment that documents the emotional, psychological, and behavioral effects of abuse. The process includes a comprehensive clinical interview and psychological assessment to understand how the abuse has impacted the individual’s mental health, daily functioning, and overall well-being.

Our evaluator prepares a detailed, professional report that meets U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) requirements. This report provides supporting evidence for immigration cases and helps attorneys demonstrate the emotional hardship and trauma their clients have endured.

At KEFI Counseling, we approach every evaluation with empathy, cultural sensitivity, and respect. We understand the courage it takes to share these experiences, and we provide a safe, supportive environment throughout the process.

T-VISA MENTAL HEALTH EVALUATION

At KEFI Counseling, we provide trauma-informed T-Visa Mental Health Evaluations for individuals who have been victims of human trafficking. These evaluations are designed to document the emotional, psychological, and physical impact of trafficking experiences and to support immigration cases by providing a professional clinical assessment.

During the evaluation, a licensed mental health professional conducts a compassionate and thorough clinical interview, exploring the client’s personal history, trauma experiences, and current emotional functioning. Standardized psychological assessment tools may be used to evaluate symptoms such as post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), depression, anxiety, dissociation, and other trauma-related conditions.

A detailed report is then prepared according to USCIS guidelines, outlining the effects of trafficking on the client’s mental health, coping ability, and daily life. The report also provides professional recommendations for ongoing emotional support and recovery resources.

At KEFI Counseling, we understand the sensitivity of these cases and approach every evaluation with respect, empathy, cultural understanding, and confidentiality. Our goal is to provide survivors with a safe and supportive space while delivering accurate and credible documentation for their immigration case.
